Chart notes
SIR GEORGE settled up close outside of the pacesetter in the three path, bid under coaxing midway around the far turn, took the lead while swinging out to the five path at the top of the lane, drew away passing the furlong grounds, and held firm. TIFOSI stalked outside of rivals, was ridden in the four path around the far turn, drifted out to the seven path in upper stretch, and ran on for place. SOUND BITE (IRE) set the pace in the two path, was coaxed when challenged by an outer rival midway around the far turn, lost the lead at the top of the lane, then faded to show. ST PETE'S PASSION chased inside, was ridden in the two path around the far turn, but flattened in the final furlong. WIN WINNIE WIN had a slow start, rated in the three path, was driven around the far turn, but made no closing bid.
