Chart notes
SNOOKIE BEAR vied between foes up the backstretch, was driven in the three path around the far turn, brushed an outer foe while angling out to the six path at the top of the stretch, kicked on to bid inside the final furlong, took the lead while bumping with an inner foe around the sixteenth pole, and inched clear. CAPITAINE bumped with an inner foe at the start, stalked in the four path, was driven into the far turn, got carried out to the seven path at the top of the stretch, and kept on to get the place bob. HUMORESQUE vied for the lead outside of an inner pair, took command while being ridden from the three path into the far turn, opened up midway around the far turn, floated out to the five path at the top of the lane, continued on the left lead, bumped with the outer winner while getting caught passing the sixteenth pole, then was nailed by the late charging runner up at the wire to show. BONFIGLIO rated in the three path, was coaxed along around the far turn, but made no impact. LUCKY DRAGON bumped with an outer foe at the start, prompted the early pace inside, lost ground under a drive around the far turn, and continued to fade down the lane. INTOLERABLE was always outrun. NO CHANGES WERE MADE AFTER A STEWARDS INQUIRY AS WELL AS AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDER HUMORESQUE AGAINST THE RIDER OF SNOOKIE BEAR FOR INTERFERENCE IN DEEP STRETCH.
