Chart notes
GOLD LADY tracked in the three path, was roused passing the quarter, tipped out to the seven path to bid boldly in upper stretch, held command while in hand passing the sixteenth pole, and was eased up late. TORTUGA ISLAND trailed inside early, was roused midway around the turn, and ran on down the stretch to get up for place late. DISSOLUTE set a clear pace in the three path, was cued going by the quarter, stayed on down the stretch, got overtaken by the winner just past the eighth pole, then flattened around the sixteenth to show. LILLIPUT raced off the pace in the four path, was driven around the turn, and stayed on in the six path down the stretch. LOOK LIKE IT was hustled in midpack from the two path early but weakened.
