Chart notes
RED GUITAR was allowed to settle into stride near the rear with the rider making a savvy decision getting to the rail midway down the backside, had to be hard held sitting in the pocket trip on the rail behind the engaged twosome at the half, sat poised behind the embattled pair waiting for the cue to go around the turn, shaved the corner coming with a sharp turn of foot when asked, darted up the fence at the furlong pole seizing control and won going away with authority when crossing the finish line. LEMON SWEETS shadowed the lead pair three deep in the early stages, continued three wide hounding the contesting duo through the turn, angled out to the four path in the hunt at the top of the stretch, chased the overpowering winner home with a furlong to go but moved up nonetheless at the sixteenth pole to be a clear second best at the finish line. HAILEYS OLIVIA advanced steadily on the fence getting a neck in front by the half, dueled inside another around the bend, had the two path clinging with a host of rivals threatening on both sides in upper stretch, could not quicken surrendering the lead to the winner shooting up the rail at the furlong pole and evened out late just lasting inside at the wire for the show money. RUBY'S APPEAL travelled in midfield between horses, waited for running room two wide behind the leaders on the turn at the quarter marker, shifted out five wide getting a clear lane in mid-stretch and closed in right at the finish line outside to settle on the fringes. KISS ME BABY was hustled hard vying between foes up top along the backside, battled two wide outside the leader throughout the oval, gave way fighting on the front end three wide between rivals at the top of the stretch and tired late with runners on either side getting nabbed at the wire losing out on a minor share. HURRICANE AMELIA was forwardly placed early on, settled near the rear getting shuffled back three deep midway along the backside, improved going three to four wide circling rivals getting into contention briefly by the quarter pole, shifted to the six path in upper stretch but could not get involved in the drive to the wire. C C ATHENA was void of early foot seeing the field along the backside, made no progression around the turn shifting out at the quarter pole, angled out to the six path turning for home but had little to offer in the stretch running.
