Chart notes
CRUMLIN LAD stalked the dueling leaders, advanced three to four wide late on the turn, swept past and drew clear in upper stretch, held safe while kept to task. YACHT BOY broke out badly, settled off the pace, went two to three wide on the turn, was second best. DREAMING OF KONA was outsprinted early, saved ground near the inside on the turn, came out a bit in the stretch, ran along for show honors. IRONSTONE tossed his head at the start, trailed, swung five wide, passed tired rivals. CARNEW forced the early pace from outside with a narrow lead, was headed and continued to duel, gave way. ZIO CAVALLO stumbled at the start, dueled inside taking a narrow lead at the nine-sixteenths, gave way.
