Chart notes
PIN BOY had the inside sitting behind the front three runners, closed the gap between rivals two wide in the turn running, had a tight seam in the four path with multiple challengers on both sides fighting it out up top in upper stretch, darted through foes tenaciously at the sixteenth pole finding just a little bit more than the rest and with one final burst stuck his nose out to win by the slimmest of margins at the finish line with a very gutsy performance. DRAW BOOT was on the outside of the eventual winner sitting in the third tier down the backstretch, narrowed the margin going three wide around horses through the turn, loomed boldly in the six path outside many runners at the head of the lane, grinded away outside taking the lead with a sixteenth to go but lost a heartbreaking photo with the winner surging right at the finish line getting the victory. INTERIM ANALYSIS had a good spot isolated watching the contesting pair at the half, inched up on the lead duo inside two others at the quarter pole, moved to the five path in the thick of things with five rivals abreast with a furlong to go but could not quicken with the top two runners who had it to themselves in the final seventy yards running on to be a solid third in the end. SOUPER STRIDER was near the rear having only a couple on runners beaten along the backside, travelled two wide making little impact around the oval, angled to the five path turning for home and had a good late turn of foot winning the three way duel outside for a minor award at the wire. SIGNATURE SIR broke out at the start, prompted the pace outside along the back straightaway, continued to be a thorn in the leaders side two wide battling outside for the front on the turn, had the three path in the mix in mid-stretch but could not continue on with outside runners late and faded between foes with a sixteenth remaining. SONOFAGHOST was roused from the onset getting a slight advantage up top entering the backstretch, dueled inside with a pesky rival that would not go away around the turn, had the rail clinging onto the lead with a host of outside runners bearing down at the furlong marker and yielded inside to others by the sixteenth pole. ALFRED BELLOWS was brushed by the inside foe at the start, settled close to the back on the fence in the early going, was relegated to last tooling the short way at the midpoint of the turn and had some interest inside passing a couple of weary foes in the final furlong. GO GO ALEXANDER was a long last with the field strung out midway down the backside, made a brief run two wide passing an inside foe leaving the three eighths marker, angled out to the three path in upper stretch but could nor get involved in the drive to the wire. ALPHA KADIN had the rail sitting in midfield by the half mile marker, kept pace all alone still in the middle of the pack around the turn, shifted to the two path for the drive but had no finish to offer in the stretch drive.
