Chart notes
SKILLIAN settled nicely behind the embattled pacesetters, advanced on the turn, responded to his cue and kicked clear while three wide in the stretch. READY AS EVER brushed at the start, saved ground, was urged on the turn and managed a mild three wide rally to garner the place spot. MO'S GLITTER led early, was outpaced on the turn and stayed on in the stretch. ARTILLERY GUNNAR leaned in st the start, was outrun while four wide, went five wide into the stretch and offered no contending bid. N. Y. FINEST veered out at the start, was outrun early and failed to threaten. LAYSEN forced the early pace along while racing along the inside, took over on the turn but was worn down in the stretch.
