Chart notes

ZABO galloped along uncontested in the first circuit, was let out a notch quickening the tempo at the half, had to be coaxed for more when headed outside at the three eighths pole to the quarter marker keeping a slim advantage while picking up the pace considerably, shaved the final corner spurting clear turning for home and held sway in the stretch drive with a savvy front-running display by both horse and rider. BREAKING ALONE was content to track the frontrunner outside, moved in sharply bearing urged on making a bid two wide outside for the lead with three furlongs to go, battled stubbornly outside through the final turn, could not quicken as much with the inside leader turning for home but still showed grit to the wire even though unable to go with the winner in the final furlong digging in holding at the finish line while not switching leads besting the rest for second money. EXUDE travelled in midfield on the rail in the beginning, had to be checked briefly in tight midway around the initial turn, started to make a rally on the fence at the three eighths pole, shifted to the two path reaching for more ground in upper stretch and had a good late run in this marathon to finish up solidly closing in capturing the third place share in the last sixteenth of a mile. ONE MORE BREW had an inside tracking role early on, sat all alone watching the lead two runners on the second turn, closed the gap on the rail at the half, chased in earnest the contesting pair on the last turn, moved out the three path still trying to get to the top two rivals down the lane but was slightly outkicked by the outside runner losing the show award in deep stretch. CALL ME SUE settled close the back on the outside, was pushed out three wide by the inside rival on the second bend, made an early move sensing the pedestrian pace three deep entering the backstretch for the last time, dropped back when the tempo started to quicken at the half, made a mild run two wide between horses midway through the final turn but ran on only one paced in the three path down the stretch. TWOWAYCROSSING travelled on the outside two wide of another in mid-pack, took closer order between horses in the two path with a half mile remaining, was going in the wrong direction spinning his wheels three wide being passed by a couple of runners inside at the three eighths pole and could no factor in the four path in the drive to the wire. OFFLEE NAUGHTY was off a step slowly being disadvantaged with a very soft uncontested pace going on up front in the early stages, passed an outside foe at the three furlong pole but could not close in on the leaders who had plenty left for the stretch drive. SLUGGERNAUT settled near the rear on the rail, moved out two wide midway around the second of three turns, had the two path making no progression down the backside for the final time, was relegated to the rear at the three eighths pole and galloped on in unable to catch up to any rivals.
