Chart notes
CLAIRE'S DARLING was well rated on a clear lead setting a slow pace while pulling down the backstretch, settled on the turn extending the lead when given her head, widened turning for home and remained unchallenged while weakening late having controlled throughout. HITS DIFFERENT unhurried to race near the rear of the field for five-eighths, rallied along the rail midway on the turn, cut the corner turning for home and finished willingly to be gaining late. COLE'S VALENTINE tracked the leader from four wide through the far turn and rallied mildly to be along for the show. JASSAI went evenly failing to menace. OMIKAMI slow early to be the trailer and was never a factor. EQUINAMOUS chased the winner for three-quarters and gave way through the lane tiring.
