Chart notes
FIRST BID tracked along the inside around the first turn, tipped out midway up the backstretch, was ridden into the far turn, ranged up to bid boldly in the four path to take the lead going by the quarter then kicked away down the stretch. MCMONEY steadied at the start, trailed in the three path, was driven around the far turn, fanned out to the five path at the top of the lane, and kept on outside of rivals to clearly be second best. BERNIN TUNE rated outside of rivals in the four path, came under a drive entering the far turn, tipped into the two path passing the quarter then floated back out to the four path at the top of the stretch, and faded but edged out show. BROWN RESERVE chased between foes from the two path early, was ridden around the far turn, but had no closing kick. JACK SPRAT broke in, set the pace in the two path, was roused passing the three-eighths pole, lost the lead passing the quarter, then yielded in the stretch. CAMP DADDY stalked the pacesetter along the inside but weakened in the stretch.
