Chart notes
GYPSY WILDCAT broke well to be the inside horse in the four-way battle for the early lead, backed off heading into the turn, then came back on four-wide at the top of the stretch, finished well under steady handling and was up in the final yards. VENUS ROCKS contested the pace between foes, made the lead in upper stretch, but was unable to hold off a closing rival. HAZHONI settled three-wide with the second flight, moved up to join the pace fray on the turn, but weakened in the final furlong. TRUMP DANCE hopped at the start and was off a bit slowly, settled just off the pace behind the speed, stayed to the inside path through the turn, angled out to the five-path the stretch and was mildly gaining. RUNAWAY GODDESS hustled away to take the lead but was joined on the pace by three rivals, vied between rivals through the turn, then weakened in mid-stretch. JASMINE BABY moved to the outside after the start and was seven-wide down the backstretch, continued on four-wide through the turn, and lacked a meaningful finish. FLY BECKY was never involved.
