Chart notes
LOVESUNFAIR broke on top but ceded the lead midway down the backstretch, remained within range four-wide, then took over in mid-stretch and edged clear in the final furlong. FINGLAS LAD broke well but was outsprinted early, took the lead near the seven-sixteenths marker, battled gamely but could not go on with LOVESUNFAIR in the final furlong, and held determinedly to save the place. HENRY ON THE RUN settled near the rear early, saved ground through the turn, then swung four-wide for the stretch run and finished with late energy to gain third. ROCKET SANDERS settled mid-pack after the break, launched a bid from the three-furlong pole and had every chance at the top of the stretch, but weakened in the final yards. MISSISSIPPI MAN raced four-deep in the early pace scramble but was outfinished. MOON SHINE TIME was part of the early pace mix, backed out before the turn and lacked a rally. SHUDDER ttracked the pace battle five-wide to the turn, loomed with a chance turning for home but flattened out. TEDDY'S TRIUMPH contested the pace from the rail but weakened in the stretch. SILVER DADDY was slow into stride, chased from the back along the inside but was unable to make headway in the later stages. REQUISITION was outrun early, settled mid-pack approaching the turn, then weakened and faded to the rear.
