Chart notes
GOLDEN GREEK broke on top but was overtaken before the half, settled in just behind the pace battle, responded to strong handling midway through the turn, tipped out four-wide and ran down the dueling leaders under steady handling. COMPETITIVE IDEA dueled inside of FINE MUSIC from the start, got a head in front in upper stretch but could not hold off the winner. FINE MUSIC dueled outside of a rival from the outset, dug in gamely through the late stages, but gave way grudgingly late. STAGE LEFT raced mid-pack, finished willingly but was not quite good enough. TRUTH SEEKER was the back marker down the backstretch, came out five or six wide into the stretch, closed in late but had too much ground to make up and ran out of time. WEST OF ME showed good speed for a quarter mile, then dropped out. WHERE'S THE LOOT moved up after the start into the pace scramble, was in range of the leaders three to four wide through the turn, then five wide into the stretch but flattened out. HAM SANDWICH never threatened. TIME TRAVELIN settled near the back, behind the main pack, made a nice middle move on the turn, but could not sustain the bid and faltered in mid-stretch.
