Chart notes
MIDNIGHT ROCKET was able to rate around the middle of the pack through the early stages, ranged up three wide through through the turn to be in position for a four wide bid at the quarter pole, continued down the lane under heavy encouragement to successfully repel inner rival. SHOW ME THE MUNNY broke the gate prior to the start but was held in place by the assistant starter, broke towards inner foe at the start, found a forward position to shadow the early pace setter two wide, coaxed along through the turn to eat away at the leading margin before being roused about the five sixteenths, took charge briefly at the quarter pole before being over taken on the outside by MIDNIGHT ROCKET, fought back down the lane but was ultimately bested for a gamely finish. ACE IN HAND got bumped inward at the start, continued along setting a clear pace from the inside, started to come under pressure halfway around the turn before meeting with two bidders at the quarter, grudgingly gave way to both of those rivals and kept on down the stretch for a clear show. BLUEBERRYHILLKEKE was fractious in the starting gate, broke inward at the start, backed off to trail three wide up the backstretch, continued off the pace through the turn until being cued at the seven sixteenths, lacked the response necessary to form a rally but was able to pass fader in the stretch. BIG TIME STORY got squeezed back at the start, split runners before the turn and attempted to advance four wide, attempted to form a rally down the lane but was unable. KLIMT MASTER got pinched back at the start, raced off the along the inside early before trailing shortly after, started receiving encouragement around the half mile marker but lacked a response to give, retreated then on.
