Chart notes

I BELONG FIRST was fractious in the gate then moved up and assumed command while setting a slow pace before being roused into the stretch and was all out, holding sway. PRIDE AND ATTITUDE stumbled at the start and settled then moved to closer contention nearing the 1/2 pole before angling five wide into the stretch and was gaining late. STICK AROUND rated in the second flight and saved ground before being urged to contend nearing the 3/8 pole and slipped through along the rail, rallying late. NANCYFROMTHEBLOCK was void of early speed while saving ground then made a steady advance through the second turn before angling six wide into the stretch and ran on late. CAT'S CRADLE settled early with a three wide trip then made a bid between horses at the 1/4 pole and faltered in the stretch. J. P INDY stalked the early pace then contended to the 3/8 pole before giving way along the inside in the stretch.
