Chart notes
TIZ IS PONTE got away alertly and showed speed before being headed briefly by HALLEY'S COMET on the backstretch run then came back and assumed command into the turn and opened up before being kept to task into the stretch and winning in hand. KUKUK got shut off at the start then rated in the middle of the pack before making a bid along the rail nearing the 1/2 pole then angled out into the stretch and was gaining late. ORB CITY stumbled at the start and settled then waited into the turn before splitting horses at the 1/8 pole and rallying late. GOLDEN RULE chased the pace with a four wide trip before being urged nearing the 3/8 pole and made a mild rally late. HALLEY'S COMET was rushed up and grabbed a brief lead on the backstretch run but dropped back into the turn and came up empty in the stretch. ENZITO raced close up early and saved ground through the turn then made a rail bid but flattened out in the stretch. KISSES FROM BRAZIL got steadied at the start when ORB CITY stumbled and broke outward then dropped back and showed no speed while never factoring.
