FIDDLING FELIX saved ground early, tracked the pace setters up the backstretch, navigated the second turn from the two path, began a bid passing the quarter pole, and dueled to the finish to just miss. BRONX BOYS saved ground around the first bend, dueled on the inside up the backstretch, came around the far turn in the two path and gave way in the final furlong. TAVERN TIME trailed the field while saving ground through the opening three quarters and showed no kick. TROPANDHAGEN veered out at the start, recovered to duel from the two path around the first bend and up the backstretch, came around the far turn in the three path and tired in the lane.
