Chart notes
ENJOY THE MUSIC unhurried while well in hand racing along the fence at the rear of the field, rallied at the quarter pole, angled out to the clear six wide turning for home and closed fast to be up in time. SPAN OF CONTROL tracked the leaders from four wide through the turn, rallied in upper stretch gaining on the pacesetters, took command nearing the sixteenth pole and was caught in deep stretch in a good effort. SHY DA RUNNER prompted the pace for a half, rallied to challenge in mid-stretch, took a brief lead and was overtaken in the final furlong. SHOWDOWN KING was rated off the pace in mid-pack in the turn racing along the fence, was held up turning for home lacking racing room behind a wall of runners, search for an opening to midway down the lane and surged between runners late in the lane with a good gain. SHANNONIA was reserved off the pace through the turn to be mid-field and showed some interest in the lane while failing to improve. STRAIGHTOUTADUTTON set a fast pace on a clear lead to the top of the lane and weakened through the stretch. GIFT EXCHANGE chased the hot pace for a half and faded coming home. DRUNKLE steadied leaving the gate to be the trailer and went evenly never posing a threat.
