Chart notes

KEYTOTHEPARK cleared and crossed over loose up top on the rail around the first of two turns, moved comfortably unchallenged down the backside, continued to be left alone dictating the pace while increasing the advantage throughout the second turn, had a commanding lead on the fence turning for home, was getting tired in the final furlong but under a well rated frontrunning ride just had enough in the tank to hold on by a quickly shrinking margin at the wire for the win. Z TRAIN (IRE) had runners on both sides sitting in mid-pack, was roused for more picking up the bit at the five sixteenths pole with the winner slipping further away, posed the only threat three wide straightening out for the drive and was gaining with every stride charging home sharply in the stretch running but came up just shy of the winner at the wire. NORTH YORK was washy prior to the start, rated kindly stalking the frontrunner outside in the early stages, had the two path with runners on both sides appearing to battle for a secondary share with the winner well ahead in upper stretch and ran on willingly down the lane to be a clear but distant third at the finish line. PEACE POSEY settled on the fence near the rear, shifted outside at the three eighths pole lengthening his stride by the midpoint of the far turn, hugged the rail at the top of the stretch coming on, angled out sharply off tiring rivals three wide at the furlong marker and surged inside in deep stretch to get the head down at the wire in a tight photo to be a fringe player in the end. MIA MITOLE travelled three wide outside a couple of horses in mid-pack around the beginning turn, remained in the three path making little impact having a few runners beaten along the backside, started to make a mild run three wide on the last turn keeping up with the lead group, dueled outside for a minor share through the lane but was nabbed by a late surging foe right at the wire. SPICY BOURBON broke inwards hitting the gate at the start, travelled on the rail in midfield for the first part of this two turn event, could not quicken with runners when dropping back inside at the three eighths pole, came back on getting into contention for a small share in the two path with horses on either side in upper stretch but weakened in the last sixteenth of a mile. ENGLISH JUBILEE settled close to the back outside another two wide, made no movement down the backstretch and through the final bend but did show a spark of interest down the lane catching a leg weary foe in the final eighth of a mile. NILE PASSAGE broke in at the start, tracked the loose pacesetter in tandem with an outside foe throughout, had the rail in the chasing group inside two others still in the mix at the top of the stretch but could not find more in the late going and wilted on the fence by the furlong pole. ALBIE FIRST was unhurried two wide seeing the field on the initial bend, continued at the rear along the backside and could not get into gear through the stretch drive trailing this group throughout when crossing the finish line.
