Chart notes
QUICK SAND went to the front, drove clear, led throughout and was kept to the task. CHARGE THE DEAL raced within contention, came around the turn on the outside, made a bid, couldn't catch the winner, but was a clear second. FUNTIMEGIRL raced near the middle of the pack, made a late wide bid, got up for third, but was no match for the top two. ARMY NURSE pressed the pace, forwardly placed throughout and lacked a late kick. TAPPER was an early factor, saved ground around the turn and weakened. TARKINGTON SUNRISE raced near the middle of the field and was never a factor. GOLDEN BARCENTS void of early speed, moved up, but was no threat. LASSIE BEE raced in the middle of the field, faded and was no threat late. CRANKY SHEILA void of early speed and was never close.
