Chart notes
NO MORE CALLS settled off the pace while saving ground early, angled out nearing the far turn, cruised up and bid three deep leaving the three eighths, went clear past the five sixteenths, widened the advantage under asking heading to the furlong grounds then held sway while kept to task. CHOWSER , lightly bumped at the break, regrouped and pulled his way forward while between runners leaving the three quarter pole, stayed close under some nudging and to the inside of a rival leaving the far turn, worked outward approaching the stretch, straightened away and finished gamely to bridge the gap. DIVINE CHILD cleared early, secured the rail and set a rated pace, took some pressure through the backstretch run, dueled leaving the far turn to about the five sixteenths, chased on willingly to about the sixteenth marker and faded. LOOKIN AT MAC broke outward making contact with CHOWSER, edged up three wide to attend the pace, bid to apply serious pressure past the half, sparred between runners nearing the five sixteenths, failed to go on in upper stretch and steadily gave way. PLAY IT COOL tracked inside, was outpaced leaving the half mile marker, angled out and retreated. GOOD MAN DAN broke outward to be away last, straightened and moved up four wide around the first turn, stalked outside runners through the backstretch, failed to respond leaving the far turn and faltered.
