Chart notes
CHARLIBU , well back for a half mile, swung to the five path in mid stretch, closed with a rush outside horses, swept to command inside the eighth pole and drew away. MAD MISTY circled the turn three wide, angled outside in mid stretch and rallied on her left lead. LUX chased the pace, gained a short lead between horses near the eighth pole and weakened. GRANITE HALL lacked speed, worked between horses in the stretch, checked sharply when put in tight quarters by TWENTY FOUR CARA near the eighth pole the finished gamely. HERE'S TO THE BOYS , jostled between horses and pinched back leaving the starting gate, raced along the inner rail and was not a factor. TWENTY FOUR CARA bumped with HERE'S TO THE BOYS when that one was forced out by TIME ON THE RUN leaving the starting gate, sped to the front, drifted wide on the turn, bore in near the eighth pole and gave way. TIME ON THE RUN came out on HERE'S TO THE BOYS leaving the starting gate, remained along the inner rail and was outrun. LADY MADELEINE chased the pace and gave way.
