Chart notes
AUNT JUDY tracked the early pace from the outside, well placed while three wide into the turn, vied to upper stretch then kicked clear nearing the furlong pole, drew off under firm hand urging into the final sixteenth and won as much the best. RAREST HOUR vied for the early lead then pressed the pace into the turn, took command while in the two path nearing the quarter marker, battled AUNT JUDY to upper stretch then was repelled at the furlong marker, was no match late for the winner but stayed on to best the rest. SCARLET ROGUE veered out at the start then settled mid-pack in the early stages, coaxed three wide to the quarter marker, swung to the four path for the stretch drive, couldn't reel in the top pair approaching the final sixteenth but held safely in the end for third. LILY'S GAL caught in tight and pinched back at the start, trailed to the turn, coaxed from the two path to upper stretch, couldn't find the needed response but improved position in the drive and kept on in a good effort. DIVINE STORM showed good speed from the gate and took early command, set a pressured pace into the turn then was overtaken nearing the quarter marker, chased the leading pair to mid-stretch and weakened in the late stages. MOTHER SUPERIOR tracked the early pace from the inside, was well placed while saving ground into the turn, ran in pursuit to the top of the stretch then gave way in the drive. FIREFLY LANE bumped then lost her path at the start, coaxed three wide into the turn, shifted to the two path nearing the quarter marker, angled back out and was urged five to six wide for the stretch drive, lacked a response in the lane and failed to threaten late. ROYAL MIST settled off of the early pace, coaxed two wide to upper stretch and lacked a late response. PORT ELIZABETH lunged at the start, settled mid-pack while outside of rivals, lost ground along the turn, swung to the six path to upper stretch then came up empty in the late stages. SANGRE BRAVA rated just off of the early pace, chased the leaders from the two path nearing the quarter pole, couldn't find the needed response to upper stretch then faltered in stretch drive.
