Chart notes

IRON DOME stalked the pace down the backstretch, went around turn in the two path while in good striking range of the leaders, was asked in the three path into the stretch then shifted further out, rallied to make a bid outside the sixteenth-pole, battled between horses late and narrowly prevailed under strong urging. WYNSTOCK was reserved off the pace, came under urging in the three path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the four path them moved further out, chased outside in the drive, gained to make a bid in the final sixteenth but just missed while narrowly able to get the place. TRICKY BUSINESS bobbled at the start but broke towards the front, tracked the pace on the outside, dropped back some late on the backstretch, was roused in the three path on the turn, made a bid near the five-sixteenths pole, took the advantage around the quarter-pole, remained on his inside lead in the drive, led into the final sixteenth but was caught while able to get the show. DOC SULLIVAN was rated under a strong hold on the outside, came under urging in the four path on the turn, passed the five-sixteenths pole under the crop, was driven into the stretch in the five path, chased in the drive and finished willingly for the last spot in the superfecta. DONEGAL SURGES was well placed just off the pace, moved up to contest the lead inside the seven-eighths pole, was asked along the rail on the turn, dropped back under a drive into the final furlong and was outfinished. BANK FRENZY bumped with LEON BLUE at the start, was reserved off the pace, came under urging around the five-eighths pole, saved ground on the turn, moved out under a left-handed crop in upper stretch, dropped in near the sixteenth-pole, raced behind foes late and lacked the needed kick. PANDAGATE brushed with ALAN TURNING at the start, settled on the outside, was roused in the three to four path on the turn, turned into upper stretch in the six path and lacked the needed response. LEON BLUE bumped with BANK FRENZY at the start then was hustled, showed speed then contested the pace on the outside, vied in the two path while asked on the turn, battled under a drive in upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and capitulated. EZ ROLL climbed some while moving in behind horses leaving the chute, raced well back in the field, went around the turn in the two path, came into the stretch in the four path and was no factor. ALAN TURING stumbled at the start then brushed with a foe, raced at the rear, moved from the inside to the four path on the turn, spun into upper stretch in the six path and was no factor.
