Chart notes
SENBEI broke well and crossed in along the rail early while not yet clear of WARALO, coaxed along through the turn slowly coming under pressure from that rival, received his cue in the upper stretch to pull away in the final furlong. TWENTY SIX BLACK was rated along the inside, nudged along rounding the turn and shifted three wide at the quarter bumping into BOSUN, put together a driving effort but was held at bay by the winner. BOLD JOURNEY broke slowly, trailed in the two path entering the turn, was roused about the five-sixteenths and floated five wide entering the top of the stretch, rallied down the lane earning the show award. BOSUN was forwardly placed three wide, began asking around the three-eights pole and was bumped out by TWENTY SIX BLACK at the quarter-pole, kept on down the lane. DAKOTA COUNTRY was rated two wide, was roused about the three-eighths before taking to the outside at the top of the lane, trailed briefly in the upper stretch until passing a fader in the final furlong. WARALO was fractious in the starting gate, fought for early position along the inside but was forced to take a hold as SENBEI crossed in, repositioned two wide and moved up to press that rival through the turn, dueled for command in the upper stretch before fading in the final furlong.
