Chart notes
LOLO LE PLUME vied two wide, led narrowly into the far turn, then between horses as an outer MAJESTICAL issued a challenge at the quarter pole, dueled with that one while subtly headed into the final furlong, battled on gamely thereafter and forged a dead-heat the wire. MAJESTICAL stalked from the two path while pursuing in the bit behind the leaders into the backstretch, tipped to loom a danger outside of the top pair into the far turn, ranged up to bid at the quarter pole, sparked a duel with an inner counterpart nearing the lane, wrestled a slim advantage in upper stretch, battled through the final furlong then shared victory at the wire. TRUSTY TROUTMAN leaned outwardly at the start, stalked from the three path, chased in the four to three around the far turn, proved no match for the top pair and was best of the rest. JUSTIFIED GIFT vied for the lead with an outer foe, sustained position while headed around the far turn, but yielded to the eventual top pair at the quarter pole and gave way. RED BERETTA trailed in the three to four path and failed to factor. WINE PARTY raced off of the pace along the inside, chased in the two to three path around the far turn then tired.
