Chart notes
PURA VIDA PRINCESA took control quickly, showed the way along the rail through the turn, asked right handed in upper stretch, continued clear into the final sixteenth and held safely. RETHINK unhurried in the opening rounds, navigated the turn two then then three wide, finished well to gain second but lacked the needed late punch to get to the winner. AMORITA broke in and bumped ANTIFONA (FR), was closest in pursuit of the lone leader down the hill in the two path, followed within striking distance into the final furlong but finished evenly late. PRECISE TIMING dropped back early, trailed on the inside then two wide late on the bend, moved further out in the drive and produced a mild rally to earn a minor award. POP ART saved ground from off the pace, moved out into the final furlong and never threatened. VISUALLY settled towards the rear, took the turn two wide, given her cue crossing over the dirt but failed to respond. ANTIFONA (FR) took contact from AMORITA leaving the gate, traveled near the back of the pace on the inside, went two wide into the lane, steered out in the stretch and lacked a rally. TAHINI stalked the top pair outside a rival, chased three wide turning for home and weakened in the furlong grounds. SARATOGA SPECIAL (IRE) took a stalking position early, saved ground through the turn, roused entering the lane and also weakened.
