Chart notes
THE WARDEN dropped back far back early, coaxed along up the backstretch from off the rail, went two wide around the turn before angling out with a quarter mile remaining, flew down the middle portion of the track and surged clear late. STYLE CAT coaxed along early from off the pace, saved ground through the turn, steered out into the lane, closed well and got up for second. PRACTICAL JACK settled out wide, went five deep into the turn, gained around the bend while angling inward, challenged three deep into the final eighth pole but got outkicked by the top pair. HOWIE'S LAW stepped to the front, showed the way along the inside into the turn, confronted by CAPTAIN SCHREVE late on the bend, dug in to the sixteenth pole, then weakened late. MARCH OF TIME chased between rivals from off the pace, went four wide into the turn, angled down to the rail around the bend, steered out in the drive and kept trying to improve position. CAPTAIN SHREVE stalked the lone speed up the backstretch, bid two wide at the quarter pole, fought between into deep stretch and flattened. DUKE SILVER tracked three deep early on, angled down to the rail around the turn, came back out a bit into the drive, cut to the rail with a furlong remaining, got stymied behind HOWIE'S LAW and never found room. SAN SABA stumbled slightly at the start, stalked in the three path entering the turn, tipped four wide leaving the bend and tired. Copyright 2026 Equibase Company LLC. All Rights Reserved.
