Chart notes
CANDYSCAPE showed good speed from the break, dueled to the ouside of FORTY SEVEN to the turn, then started to edge clear of the field, drifted a little wide into the turn but responded to strong handling to remain in the clear to the finish. ONEFORTHEDITCH moved up to the dueling leaders approaching the half-mile pole, bid for the lead three-wide at the top of the stretch, but could not get to the winner. BAD BOY ONE broke well, then settled in a wide spot just off the pace, was put into a drive at the three-furlong pole and mildly gained ground on the leader but was never a serious threat. FORTY SEVEN dueled inside of CANDYSCAPE into the turn, then ceded the lead past the three-furlong pole, tried to stay on but was outfinished. ANOTHER JUANITO was the distant trailer, then passed tired foes in the stretch. BIG A'S LITTLE ONE got put in tight early after the start, shuffled back, then dropped down the rail, was still with a lot to do entering the stretch, but ran on some through to improve. EYE FOR AN EYE raced in mid-pack at the rear of the main group but well ahead of the back markers, was on the wrong lead through the stretch and faltered. PI TIME settled mid-pack and lacked a late bid.
