Chart notes
BO DIDDLEY broke a step slow on the outside, ridden along from off the pace, gained four deep around the turn, took aim at the winner entering the final furlong, reeled in that foe and drove past for the victory. PROUD DANIEL was antsy inside the gate, dueled from outside, shook free midway around the bend, opened up into the stretch, remained clear into the final furlong, carried a rapidly diminishing lead into the last sixteenth and could not fend off the winner. DON'T TELL JEAN sat off the pace, saved ground through the turn, hugged the rail into the stretch and ran on to gain third. HERE COMES TOO TOO was fractious in the gate, forwardly placed early, asked in the three path on the turn and weakened down the lane. SIMPLE MAJORITY raced up close from inside, went between rivals on the turn and also weakened in the drive. BATT COMMANDER challenged for the lead from inside, failed to keep up with PROUD DANIEL nearing the five-sixteenths pole, chased with outer trio into the stretch and faded. HALO HOWIE was fractious in the gate, lost his footing leaving the gate, lagged behind early, saved ground around the bend and never got involved.
