Chart notes
DESERT KAT broke out and bumped TEE N OFF, raced up close three deep then outside the leader early, bid two wide early on the far turn, headed the leader at the three-eighths pole, took over approaching the quarter pole, cleared leaving the bend and stayed clear to the wire. TEE N OFF took a bump from DESERT KAT leaving the gate, chased four wide around the clubhouse turn, three deep on the backstretch, continued three wide through the far turn, finished willingly to gain second but could not get close to the winner in the furlong grounds. TIGGRRR WHITWORTH showed the way from inside, took pressure early on the far turn, headed with three furlongs remaining, lost command and yielded to the new leader approaching the stretch, churned on through the lane and held third. COURT OF APPEAL tracked in the two path, dropped to last in the middle stages, went three wide around the far turn, had one beat turning for home and passed tired rivals in the drive. DEALERS SPECIAL settled in the four path then dove to the inside on the clubhouse turn, moved up on the backstretch, saved ground through the far turn and weakened. MILLBO BAGGINS stalked in the two path, tracked between on the backstretch, continued two wide to the stretch, moved out in the lane and weakened. DATS MS. BLAME chased five deep early, ridden along on the backstretch, went four deep on the far turn and had little left for the drive.
