Chart notes

WARHEART stalked a contested pace while three wide into the turn, came four wide into the lane, closed in under pressure, reeled in the inner leader and poked a head in front near the sixteenth marker, drifted out when switching to his left lead in deep stretch, exchanged a light brush with NOBLE JON and dug in to prevail. NOBLE JON rated inside, angled five wide into the lane, ranged up near the sixteenth marker, steadied when lightly brushed in deep stretch then kept on gamely to just miss. BOAT'S A ROCKIN , four to six wide, closed steadily. NOAH CHANCE saved ground, eased out in upper stretch, worked between foes with progress in the lane then kept on with effort to the inside of horses. JOLLY BOSS , off a bit slow, settled off the pace, came about seven wide for the drive and had some belated action. THE BULLION BOMBER (IRE) , off the pace while saving ground, shifted out in upper stretch and churned on. FRYE ISLAND (IRE) sped clear early then was joined by an inner foe, dueled leaving the far turn, spurted away nearing the lane, opened up under a drive near mid stretch, failed to contain outer threats near the sixteenth pole and weakened. DAUFUSKIE ISLAND , between foes, faded. KOHOUTEK broke a bit slow, drafted back well off the pace while saving ground and failed to generate a rally. CHUCK ADAMS , shuffled soon after the break, came four wide for the drive and failed to menace. ISLAND D'LITE , three deep early, faded. A G DIAMOND rushed up to the inside of a rival into the turn and dueled briefly, chased from the three eighths to upper stretch then faltered. Following an objection by the rider of NOBLE JON against WARHEART alleging interference in the stretch, WARHEART was disqualified from first and placed second.
