Chart notes
FIGHTERTOWN sprinted to the front soon after the break, remained along the rail under confident handling and drew away in the drive while ridden out. MR. SQUEAKY WHEELS chased the winner around the oval and held the place. MILES AHEAD stayed in the two path on the turn, swung outside in upper stretch, failed to rally and passed a tired rival. ARTILLERY GUNNAR saved ground on the turn stalking the pace, eased off the rail in upper stretch and faded. ON THE LEVEL , outrun, raced near the inner rail on the turn. SUPERSTAR SWANK , three wide on the turn, steadily retreated. ROBERT'S MOON , kept wide around the turn, was not a factor.
