Chart notes

BACK WALL BANDIT took a slight hold shortly after the start as CELTIC TIGER cross in front of her, rode up afterwards to stalk the pace three wide, took charge at the three-eighths and continued nudging along through the turn to expand her lead entering the stretch, kept on in hand down the lane proving much the best. LACHICAFORTEQUILA found position not too far behind the pace for the run up the backstretch, entered a heavy hand ride inside the seven-sixteenths to begin advancing through the turn three wide, kept on down for the lane but was no match for the winner. SPECIAL AFFAIR broke a step slow, raced off the pace before being nudged along four wide through the turn, picked off a couple faders in the stretch for a clear show award. DIAMOND ESSENCE stalked the early pace setter along the inside, backed off at the three sixteenths, met her cue nearing the quarter-pole to enter a two wide run down the stretch but was unable to make significant progress. PRETTY LILY settled back to trail shortly after the start, came under a ride at the quarter and took to the outside of the stretch only to pass one fader. CELTIC TIGER broke well and crossed inward to show the way up the backstretch two wide, met a bid from BACK WALL BANDIT at the three-eighths pole, chased that runner through the turn before asking at the quarter-pole but came up empty, continued to weaken down the stretch.
