Chart notes
MRS. C had an ideal trip all alone watching the contested pair fight it out up top in the early stages, started to move in with an outside rival at the quarter pole, bid three wide between horses up front at the top of the stretch and stubbornly fought on inside to the very end getting her nose right down at the wire for the gutsy stretch battling win. TANZANITE LILY was forwardly placed keeping a close eye on the lead three runners down the backside, edged up three to four wide around horses by the quarter pole, pounced outside still in the four path turning for home, inched away getting a slight advantage poking a head in front at the sixteenth pole but lost to nod to the resilient winner inside at the finish line in a very tight photo. WHERE'S SAMNBAILEY dropped back through the backstretch to be at the rear by the seven sixteenths pole, was well behind the field around the turn, shifted out to the five path beginning to reach for more ground, angled out even further to be seven wide outside foes at the furlong marker and closed in belatedly with the speed collapsing late to be a clear but non-threatening third. ENCHANTED FOREST was bumped by the outside foe on the start, recouped to have the rail position in midfield by the half, regressed slightly taking the shortest way around the oval, rallied on the fence when called upon for more shaving the corner and finished up with good intent on the rail in the final furlong for a minor award. COMPLEX SECRET was on the outside having only a single rival beaten in the beginning, advanced smartly outside foes along the backstretch, travelled three wide running evenly through the oval, battled for a small share in the four path straightening out for home but failed to menace running one paced in the final eighth of a mile. WUNHAPPY WABBIT veered out on the break, was roused for more while trailing outside down the back straightaway, started to make a move passing an inside foe by the seven sixteenths pole, improved three wide around runners on the bend, swung out widest in the seven path in with a shot for a piece of the prize at the top of the lane but wilted with its run at the furlong marker. SULTRY SOPHIE broke inwards on the start, settled outside another in midfield by the half, dropped back at the three eighths pole, narrowed the margin in the turn running but could not be a factor in the stretch drive. CHARGETHATMOUNTAIN forced a rapid pace on the rail down the backside, continued to battle inside around the behind, surrendered the lead having the two path to a couple of outside rivals at the top of the lane and ran out of steam folding in the final furlong. GOT A COMPLEX had a narrow advantage on the outside down the backstretch, continued to throw it down outside under a lively tempo through the turn, had little left to give emptying out three wide between horses in upper stretch and galloped on home in the late going.
