Chart notes
SPARKLING SILVER was washed out behind the gate, broke sharply getting control right from the onset, rattled along loose up top down the backstretch, continued to freewheel on the engine uncontested around the oval, angled out to the four path having company bearing down menacingly outside at the top of the stretch, never wavered inside through the stretch duel and kept finding more late to prevail by a whisker at the wire. STARSHIP PARADISE had a good position nestled on the rail tracking the pacesetter, sat poised on the fence measuring the frontrunner through the bend, shifted out coming on quickly looming boldly outside in the six path in upper stretch, fought on determinedly outside down the entire lane but was denied at the wire needing a picture to decide the winner. DAFINA settled in mid-division between horses in a clustered group at the half, crept closer two to three wide be nudged along throughout the bend, was in the mix two wide inside a rival fighting for the show money, drifted out in the final furlong but hung on winning the last jump at the finish line. SPEEDY LADY was situated three deep keeping in range of the lead three runners down the backside, chased the lone leader three wide between horses on the turn, shifted out to the five path dueling outside for the show award with the top pair having it to themselves in the final furlong, closed in with seventy yards from home but was nosed out by the inside foe at the wire taking only a minor share home instead. SERENADING AMAYA was allowed to settle into stride trailing on the fence down the backside, continued on the rail seeing the field in the turn running, shifted out to the five path for the stretch run and finished up with good late energy improving position in the late stages. CRUMLIN FASHION settled three deep on the outside near the rear early on, travelled four wide outside three rivals starting to come with a move with the field bunching up at the half, tried to rally four wide circling around horses through the turn, shifted out to the seven path having runners on both sides for the stretch drive but could not sustain the run drifting out making contact with the outside runner even though encouraged right handed by the rider and tired between foes in the final furlong. SARAH'S DANCER had the two path between horses close to the back, made no headway going to two to three wide around the oval, angled out to the eight path by mid-stretch getting bumped by the inside runner who was getting out and could not get involved having little finish to give in the final furlong. MAXINE MAGIC had a few runners beaten while having the rail in the early going, made no progression saving all the ground throughout the turn, skimmed the fence taking closer order in upper stretch but was wrapped up with the rider standing up in the saddle for the final sixteenth of a mile. LA RONDE had a tracking role outside another keeping a close eye on the frontrunner along the back straightaway, was part of the chasing quartet going two wide between runners early on the turn, dropped back abruptly by the five sixteenths pole to be a long last turning for home and galloped along through the stretch crossing the finish line.
