Chart notes
MONEY TALKS shifted in about the half, advanced inside on the turn saving ground, came out leaving the turn and was asked at the top of the stretch, struck the lead near the furlong marker, edged clear and held under steady handling. ROYAL FONZ bobbled just slightly and exchanged a light bump at the start then was urged, promptly made the lead and set the pace from off the rail edging clear, came out in the stretch meeting a challenger, fought on but was no match, kept on and held the place. I WANNA BE ME lacked early speed, steadied slightly near the seven-sixteenths, moved between foes at the back turning into upper stretch, shifted in a bit, gained mildly inside. HARD RELOAD bumped lightly with the inside foe at the start, briefly pressed then chased that one from outside, went three then four wide on the turn and was encouraged along by the quarter pole, came out a bit for the drive, failed to rally. STRAWBERRY RESERVE chased from outside on the turn moving out from three to five wide, came into upper stretch six deep, failed to rally. VERTICALNTEGRATION chased from inside steadying slightly nearing the three-eighths, saved ground, failed to menace. AU CONTRAIRE lacked early speed, raced outside to the turn, went four to five wide, was never a threat.
