Chart notes
CAPTIVATOR sprinted to the front and moved inward, took pressure from AHRENS on the turn, put that rival away in upper stretch and was kept busy to the wire. SPEEDY WILSON chased from off the rail, went three wide around the bend, finished willingly down the lane to earn second but could not reach the winner. MIRAHMADI stalked the early place up the backstretch, chased in the two path around the bend, found the rail in the stretch and finished evenly. AHRENS was closest in pursuit early, applied pressure to CAPTIVATOR on the turn, got turned away by the winner in upper stretch and flattened out. MR. DISRESPECTFUL settled off the pace, went three then four wide around the bend and failed to menace. GUN RUNNER CHARLIE tracked out of range from inside, ridden along through the turn and was never a factor.
