Chart notes
MARIA SOFIA bobbled slightly at the start but recovered to quickly make the lead and edge clear, set the pace, held sway under steady handling. WHITEMUDWEST got away well, chased the eventual winner from outside, could make no headway but was clearly second best. GLINT OVER ESSA chased from inside, kept on in the stretch to regain third. KARAT GOLD advanced outside three wide, was ridden three furlongs out, flattened out in the stretch. ILLUMINARA broke a half-step slowly, raced last but one inside, was ridden along at the three-eighths, came out in the stretch and ran on. RED DESTINY broke awkwardly, chased in behind the leaders between foes briefly, was in a bit tight at the seven-sixteenths, swung six wide turning for home, failed to rally. NASHVILLE NORTH lacked early speed and was never near enough to threaten.
