Chart notes
LET'S BE FRANK , angled in on the first turn, rated near the inner rail down the backstretch and around the far turn, moved to the two path in upper stretch, came back to the inner rail near the eighth pole, closed and was up at the wire. WAR ACE chased outside HARD FREEZE, took the lead entering the stretch, opened a clear lead while remaining off the rail, finished gamely and just lost the bob. DARING GRACE (GB) bumped with IRISH NUNSENSE when forced out by HARD FREEZE leaving the starting gate, stayed outside horses down the backstretch, was well placed turning for home and finished gamely between rivals. COACH MICHAEL , three wide around both turns, closed the gap outside the top three. FRIENDSHIP SLOOP , no factor, swung to the five path in upper stretch. FANCY GENTLEMAN , rated along the inner rail early, stayed with in range into the far turn then failed to rally. IRISH NUNSENSE , bumped with DARIING GRACE when forced in by MISTER PATAPSCO at the start, raced wide the far turn. HARD FREEZE bore out leaving the starting gate, went clear the first turn, set the pace along the inner rail and faltered. MISTER PATAPSCO bore in at the start and trailed.
