Chart notes
READY TO BATTLE had a very nice trip rating kindly drafting on the rail behind the engaged duo, shifted outside at the three eighths pole beginning to inch up, moved out off the pair coming on smartly three wide straightening out for the drive, powered past when asked for more taking control sharply by the furlong marker and was kept busy in the late going holding safely for the win. MIA MITOLE was hard held near the rear on the rail throughout, sat poised just off the fence around the far turn waiting for the cue to move, shifted to the three path having to be checked lacking running room losing momentum entering the stretch, angled to the four path shortly thereafter getting a clear lane and charged home down the lane but could not reel in the winner who got the jump on her in upper stretch. NILE PASSAGE hounded the pace outside in the early stages, seized command two wide moving past the frontrunner midway along the far turn, had the two path just clinging on up top at the head of the lane but could not find more late and faded in the final furlong to be a clear third in the end. REMARKABLY HUMAN travelled three wide in midfield, continued on outside rivals in the three path making little progression along the backstretch, tracked the duo three to four wide trying to keep up with eventual winner to her inside running through the last turn, drifted out to the five path giving way in the battle up top turning for home but still ran on strong enough settling on the fringes in the end. TAN TOAST broke just a touch slow at the start, then was hustled to be loose up top around the first bend, got a breather controlling the slow tempo down the backstretch, relinquished the front end to the pesky outside foe who hounded the pace outside throughout at the five sixteenths pole, tried to counter scraping paint taking the corner but had little left to give and folded on the fence at the furlong marker. RATINGS UPGRADE (IRE) was unhurried trailing just off the rail around the initial bend, could see the field behind a slow pace down the backside, lagged behind making no gain while roused for more on the final turn and when shifting out to the three path turning for home could not play a factor in the stretch running.
