Chart notes

BEE ME travelled three deep in midfield along the back straightaway, cruised confidently around runners three wide easily gaining control up front by the quarter marker, drifted out the five path well in command turning for home but had to be kept busy in the final furlong with the determined runner up inside fighting to the very end and prevailed for the win in deep stretch. MR. PERFECT was away slowly on the break, advanced up the rail while nudged for more along the backside to sit just back off the front pair at the half, was on hold watching the embattled trio in midturn, scraped paint coming with a good turn of foot at the top of the stretch, kept fighting inside posing the main threat to the winner by the furlong pole but just could not go by in the late going. LAWYER MASON was a joint last on the inside in the early stages, waited for the cue to move on the fence at the five sixteenths pole, started to gradually shift out at the quarter pole reaching for more ground, pushed his way through making a seam four wide at the head of the lane and closed in belatedly to be a non threatening third at the wire. INSTANT RESPONSE co-trailed on the outside, made no headway going three wide while being driven on outside two others at the tail end in the turn running, swung out widest to the six path getting into contention at the top of the stretch and finished up mildly to be a fringe player in the end. PADRAIG had runners on either side in mid-pack, was hard ridden two wide between horses part of the back threesome but spinning his wheels around the oval, angled out to the five path for the stretch run but had little to offer only passing a couple of tired runners through the lane. HOITY MORONI was forwardly placed tracking the frontrunner outside in the early going, vied behind runners for a brief moment battling up top at the five sixteenths pole, remained in the mix just off the fence in upper stretch for a piece of the prize, was no match for the top duo by the furlong marker and wilted further inside of rivals in the final sixteenth of a mile. ARYEH was being ridden along while up front on the inside down the backstretch, maintained a narrow advantage on the fence with two outside foes forcing the issue early on through the turn, surrendered the lead dropping out quickly two wide between horses at the quarter pole and emptied out in the three path when straightening out for the stretch drive.
