Chart notes
SUNDAY FINERY was allowed to settle on the fence trailing the field on the first turn, remained at the rear down the backside staring to lengthen stride by the half, began picking up runners at the seven sixteenths pole, had a sharp turn of foot when asked for run at the quarter pole getting into contention quickly, skimmed the fence looming boldly inside two rivals taking the corner and stormed past seizing control in an instant at the furlong pole and won going away with authority. MRS D was away quickly getting the early advantage, maintained a slim lead on the rail slackening the tempo along the backside, put away the early pace rival opening up at the three eighths pole, had the fence bracing for the new challenger outside at the quarter marker, had the two path just holding on up front with rivals bearing down on both sides in upper stretch, was no match for the overpowering winner inside in the final furlong but still fought on stubbornly to best the rest comfortably in the end for the secondary share. EPIC AFFAIR was nestled on the rail rail keeping a close eye on the lead two rivals early on, continued to have a nice set up still isolated stalking the contesting duo at the half, commenced a rally when the frontrunner started to slip away at the five sixteenths pole, moved in briskly two wide at the quarter marker, bid three wide outside two others in the heat of battle up top at the top of the stretch but stalled with her run at the furlong marker and still came home in the late running well enough to be all alone at the finish line for the show award. MO COOKIE pressed the pace two wide on the first of two turns, continued to pressure the frontrunner outside down the backstretch, was coaxed for more but could not quicken with the pacesetter who was slipping away by the three eighths pole, retreated steadily through the second turn and finished up through the stretch to holding for a minor placing in the end. HOMEAWAYFROMHOME bobbled soon after leaving the gate, settled near the rear having only one runner beaten in the early stages which happened to be the eventual winner, was relegated to the rear by the seven sixteenths pole, backed away even further though roused through the far turn and was a long last being wrapped up through the lane.
