Chart notes

HONORABLE BECKY broke out at the start then was unhurried in the early going, trailed into the turn, roused three wide approaching the quarter pole, rallied from the four path into upper stretch, responded well in the lane, took command into the final sixteenth and edged away late. CAJUN HOTTIE hustled to vie for the early lead, disputed the pace from the two path to the turn, took command and led to the quarter marker, showed the way off of the rail into the lane, couldn't hold off the winner in the final sixteenth but held safely for second. HOT GOSSIP tracked the early pace from the second flight, chased to the quarter marker then angled to the inside nearing the top of the lane, shifted off of the rail while in pursuit to mid-stretch, got outkicked by the top pair in the final sixteenth but was a clear third. THREE NINES FINE lunged at the start and was last away from the gate, settled early then moved up outside of runners heading to the turn, coaxed three wide to the quarter pole, lacked the needed response to mid-stretch then gave way. TIMEFORWHAT broke a bit awkwardly but raced close up to the early pace, settled in the second flight while saving ground, got caught in tight nearing the three-eighths pole and maneuvered around a tiring foe, swung widest for the stretch drive and lacked a late response. IMMIGRATION LAW crowded a bit at the start but away in good order, disputed the early pace from the inside, dropped back along the turn, trailed to upper stretch then had little left for the drive.
