Chart notes
MOSCATO BABE was quickest of of the gate clearing away and crossing over quite easily to be loose on the engine by the half, rambled on well within herself unchallenged throughout the bend, had plenty more when set down being shook up by the pilot at the furlong pole and won going away by many for the frontrunning score. LADY DAYRELLS tracked the frontrunner between foes in the early going, chased the leader determinedly two wide on the turn inching closer briefly by the quarter pole, moved to the four path in the thick of things in upper stretch, dueled outside another for the runners up share with the winner pulling away a furlong from the prize and timed the nod right at the wire between runners getting her head down besting the rest for second money. NO MISTAKE bobbled slightly on the break, rated kindly under a snug hold keeping eye on the line speed leader down the backstretch straight, took the shortest way around the turn waiting for the cue to go sitting behind the pacesetter, hugged the rail in the hunt at the top of the stretch, was no match for the overpowering winner by the furlong pole and fought on valiantly inside two runners battling for the secondary award but lost the nod at the wire in a tight photo while saving the show award by a nose in a blanket finish. DANCE WITH ME BABY was away sluggishly co-trailing inside the other troubled beginner down the backstretch, started to come with a smart run closing in on the group at the quarter pole, had the two path looking for a seam behind rivals in upper stretch, finally had clear run three wide at the furlong pole and charged home in deep stretch surging outside at the wire but was on the losing end of a three way finish for the place share. PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE had the three path between runners tracking the line speed leader, closed the gap three wide through the turn on the pacesetter, moved to the five path entering the lane but failed to fire when flattening out at the furlong marker. SPERANZA MIRACOLA hesitated on the break then veered inside having to be taken a hold of sharing the rear outside with the other poor starter down the backstretch, could not quicken around the turn going two to three wide being a solo last by the five sixteenths ang lacked a rally down the lane but did manage to catch an inside weary straggler right at the finish line. HEAD COACH D R had a couple of runners beaten while four deep in midfield along the backside, took the overland route creeping closer four wide around foes at the quarter pole, swung out widest in the six path straightening out the drive to the wire but had little to offer in the stretch running.
