Chart notes
XCARET was close up from the four path to the final turn, made a four wide bid on the final turn to take the lead after the quarter pole and drew clear. ANN'S STORM was allowed to settle around the first turn then steadily advanced down the backstretch, made a rail bid into the stretch and was just up for the place. ALL EARS vied for the lead from the inside around the first turn then took the lead at the half pole was headed at the quarter pole and fought gamely to the wire but lost the nod for second. START WELL stalked the pace from the three path down the backstretch then made a rail bid on the final turn and faltered. FUHR MEO pressed the pace around the first turn from three wide faded down the backstretch and finished evenly. FLAT ROSE was always near the back. MARIAH'S CANDY saved ground into the first turn then had trouble navigating the turn and was not a threat. DIAMOND INDY SKIES was roused to the lead under pressure and slowly retreated.
