SOVIET STANDARD vied for the lead and then rated off the pace on the turn, made a thee wide bid off the turn and slowly edged clear to prove best, driving. I'M YOUR CAPTAIN was off a step slow, rushed to the front on the inside to vie for command early, shook clear on the turn, then was headed off the turn and fought gamely to the wire but was outfinished. UNCLE DICK was outrun early, saved ground on the turn, then had a mild late rally on the inside, got nod for the show award. CAPTAIN CARNEGIE chased the early pace three wide, four wide on the turn and came five wide off the turn and finished willingly to just miss the show award. CLASSOFSIXTYSEVEN was settled early, five wide on the turn and six wide off the turn and had no rally. ROUGH JUSTICE chased the pace on the inside, came three wide off the turn, then steadied by the sixteenth marker and weakened. AMBASSADOR MIKE was settled early, went bad on the turn and was pulled up, vanned off.
