Chart notes
UNIFIED A. P. broke well and tracked behind CONQUEST SECRET in hand, always traveling well, was given the cue leaving the seven-sixteenths pole and pulled even within a furlong, took over the lead in upper stretch then was challenged by TOPPER'S CHIEFTESS, held that foe at bay the length of the stretch and won clear in the end. TOPPER'S CHIEFTESS got away well but did not contest the early pace, tracked behind the top pair under a hold, waited until the quarter pole to challenge, came four wide into the stretch and finished well but could not catch the winner. UNION HARBOR lacked early speed and was well behind through the early stages, launched a bid with three furlongs to run, saved ground through the turn, finished well under strong handling and steady urging but came up short. CONQUEST SECRET broke well and took the early lead, went unchallenged down the backstretch the responded when UNIFIED A.P. pulled even a the five-sixteenths pole, but gave way in upper stretch. ALMOST GOT LUCKY raced in the middle of the pack through the early stages, was under a drive drive from the three furlong marker but could not make any headway and was outrun in the stretch. AFTER MY OWN HEART off poorly, was put into a drive to try and regain contact with the field, stayed wide, made up some ground to the turn but could not sustain the run in the stretch. JAN'S BEST was outrun from the break, lost contact before the turn and trailed throughout. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
