Chart notes
DEFENSE WINS was pushed hard from the gate to get forward position but was unable to contest the early pace, tracked mid-pack through the early running then put some pressure on LESSONS OF AUTISM from the half mile pole, dueled outside of that foe from the three furlong marker and into the stretch, gained the advantage inside the sixteenth and held on. LESSONS OF AUTISM broke well and was sent for the lead, was hounded by HEY BATMAN and LESSONS OF AUTISM into the turn, got the better of the former before the five-sixteenths pole, the dueled with the latter into the stretch, held on well to deep stretch then gave way grudgingly in the final yards while holding on the second spot. BOBBY'S ALIBI settled off the pace and four to five wide early, advanced into contention on the turn, still wide, came five to six wide into the stretch and finished well despite racing on the left lead. OUR EXPECTATION was outrun from the break and trailed the field to the turn was still last on the turn for home, came five wide into the stretch and rallied under steady handling but came up short. TOO MUCH INFO was not asked for speed from the break and raced mid-pack through the early stages, moved into contention on the turn, ran on well from the top of the stretch but weakened in the final yards. HEY BATMAN hustled from the break and pressed LESSONS OF AUTISM down the backstretch and into the turn, gave way approaching the five-sixteenths pole and was outrun to the wire from that point.
