Chart notes
ARTISMA brushed with inner rival at the start, aced up close three deep, chased the leader three wide around the turn, was closest in pursuit entering the final furlong, collared the runner-up at the sixteenth pole and drew clear to win going away. NO BAD BEATS brushed leaving the gate, showed the way early under pressure from outer rival, cleared at the three-eighths pole, padded the lead around the turn, carried a comfortable lead into the final furlong, got run down by the winner at the sixteenth pole and held second. MARULA got floated out a bit early, tracked three wide into the turn, tucked inside around the bend, cut the corner into the lane and kept on for a clear third. SURF SONG broke slow and shifted inward, stalked behind the leader along the inside, chased two wide into the drive and weakened. AMERICAN BLESSING broke awkwardly, drifted out early then was forwardly placed four deep, asked four then three wide in pursuit on the turn and faded down the lane. MAD PURSUIT threw her head at the start and came away slow, moved up quickly between rivals to press the pace, lost touch with the leader at the three-eighths pole, dropped back between foes on the turn and tired. CAUSE I'M PERFECT trailed up the backstretch, saved ground on the fence around the bend and was outrun.
